The Pie Man was born in north London and when he was a youngster his parents moved to the Midlands. He’s always been passionate about football and played to a reasonable standard as a youngster. He’s happy, honest, strong minded, and inquisitive – you look at him and you know he’ll have an opinion.
On a lads’ trip to Las Vegas the Pieman won a big jackpot and decided to open his own internet radion station where he could talk about his favourite subject - football. When you run a radio station you need a few helpers and the Pieman has recruited 5 lovely girls from around the world to be his special “cheerleading” team. Not only do they help with the emails and texts, but The Pie Girls are also getting together as a pop group and will soon be recording a special song for the Pieman.
Before his lucky win the Pieman spent some time as a long distance lorry driver travelling across Europe. Then drove a delivery van for the pie manufacturer where his parents worked – still does the odd shift when they’re short.
The Pieman has a soft spot for Manchester United, Arsenal, Walsall, LA Galaxy and Chonburi in Thailand but listen to his shows and you’ll learn a lot more about his favourite teams and soccer heroes. No prizes for guessing that his list includes George Best, Paul Gascoigne, Alan Shearer and David Beckham.
